I think almost all of my pictures of the ducks now are the ducks in the pond or the ducks eating. They are really loving their new pond and spend almost all of their time either in the pond, standing at the side drinking from the pond, or sleeping near the pond.
We are planning to make an adjustment to the pond and ordered a different pump. The current pump that we have seems to get clogged up with feathers and doesn't get all of the sludge out, so we ordered a sewage pump. I'll keep you posted if the new pump is any better. I have also been trying different products to help keep the pond clean and will write more about this once I'm able to try them all and see what works best.
Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!
The tomatoes in our garden have done really well this year, I've picked around 130lbs. I've given away lots of tomatoes, eaten them raw, canned salsa, diced tomatoes and sauce. And there are still more tomatoes ripening.
